Dr. Pooneh Alaei-Taleghani DPM Podiatrist

Dr. Alaei earned her Medical Degree from Bogomolets National Medical University in Ukraine before pursuing a career in the United States. She began as a research associate in the department of nuclear medicine at Emory University Hospital in Georgia and later completed her Doctorate at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York. Subsequently, she embarked on a three-year surgical residency specializing in forefoot and rearfoot surgery at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida, where she was recognized for her outstanding service. With over a decade of experience in the medical field, she is well-versed in various aspects of lower leg, foot, and ankle pathology. Dr. Alaei is known for her exceptional patient care, emphasizing non-surgical options when possible, and prioritizing the needs of her patients regardless of age, race, or ethnicity. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, beach outings, travel, and spending quality time with her family. She is an active member of prominent medical organizations such as APMA, FPMA, and ABPM.
